GoodsFox data reveals that tabletop gaming brand Asmodee’s independent station amassed over 140 million impressions in just 12 days, with global traffic ranking climbing to 12,104. Its campaign promotes a “Marvel Comics subscription service,” touting “Deadpool, Wolverine, and 30,000+ comics free with a 25% discount” and exclusive promo codes to attract comic and gaming fans. 2. Shopee Philippines Announces Commission and Shipping Fee Adjustments for Cross-Border Direct Mail Stores
Shopee announced that, effective June 1, 2025 (Beijing time), Philippines cross-border direct mail stores will face updated fees to optimize services and platform growth. The commission rate will rise to 11% (including tax), and the platform shipping fee rate to 5.60% (including tax). Mall sellers retain the original 4.48% rate (including tax). These changes apply to orders generated on or after June 1, 2025, for cross-border direct mail stores only. Separate notices cover third-party and overseas warehouse stores.
3. Japan Customs Tightens Rules: Undeclared E-commerce Platforms or Destinations Risk Seizure
Japan Customs introduced new rules effective October 12, 2025, requiring three additional details for import declarations:
- Destination address and name (same as importer’s, no repeat needed).
Goods classification (select: e-commerce/FBA/other).
- E-commerce platform name (including independent stations; otherwise, seller’s name).
- These measures aim to close ACP+JCT reverse calculation loopholes and curb fixed-tax evasion, enhancing tax compliance through full-chain tracking.
4. Taobao Ranks Top Two on App Download Charts in Multiple Countries
This year’s 618 shopping festival isn’t just for Chinese shoppers—overseas consumers are flocking to Taobao! On May 17, Taobao hit the top two spots on app download charts in France, Germany, South Korea, Vietnam, and more, becoming a global favorite. Social media buzzed with foreign users asking, “What’s the most worth buying on Taobao 618?” on Taobao’s official channels. This surge reflects trust in Chinese manufacturing, quality, and branding, with Taobao’s “extreme value” reshaping global shopping experiences.
5. Yiwu’s Christmas Export Season Starts Early
