Data from GoodsFox shows that HeatsBox GO, a heated lunch box, saw a significant spike in ad placements over the past 7 days, with 158 new ads—a 154.84% increase compared to the previous period. This puts it at the top of the independent site product rankings. The lunch box can heat meals in 15-25 minutes and supports USB-C charging. A single charge can warm up 1-2 meals, with no need for app control thanks to its smart switch. The product’s visibility and marketing efforts are notably increasing across Europe, especially in the UK, Switzerland, and Sweden, where it has achieved a popularity score of 1000.

2. TikTok Ban Nears, ByteDance Pushes Users to Lemon8

With a potential TikTok ban looming, ByteDance is urging users to migrate to its lifestyle app, Lemon8. Over the past few weeks, sponsored TikTok videos have promoted Lemon8 to TikTok users as part of its early promotional strategy. Lemon8 is integrated with TikTok accounts, allowing users to use their TikTok data and usernames, while profiles on Lemon8 will also be linked to TikTok accounts. This effort is meant to boost registrations on Lemon8 ahead of the ban.

 

3. AI Glasses Set to be the Next Trend in Smart Wearables

At CES 2025, AI glasses were a major highlight, with companies competing in interactive experiences, technology development, and innovative designs. Industry experts predict that AI glasses will lead the next wave in the smart wearables market, signaling a shift in the next generation of devices.

 

4. YouTube Launches Auto-Clipping Feature for Long Videos

YouTube is testing a new feature that allows creators to automatically cut long videos into short, engaging clips. Known as "Create Video Highlights," this tool, currently in limited testing for English-language videos, identifies high-engagement segments and generates short clips. This feature helps creators easily expand their content with shorts, boosting overall engagement.

 

5. Temu Semi-Managed Service Coming Soon to Austria, Romania, and Denmark

Temu recently announced the launch dates for its semi-managed services in Austria, Romania, and Denmark. Austria’s site will go live for customers on January 6, Romania on January 10, and Denmark on January 15. Temu also hinted at upcoming launches in Japan and Mexico, with the Japanese store opening for sellers on January 22 and for customers later in February. The Mexican store is expected to fully open on January 23.
