3. Shopee Adjusts FHR Metrics, Launches 2-Day Delivery Plan
Effective October 1, 2024, Shopee Malaysia will adjust the Fast Handover Rate (FHR) requirements for local stores to enhance buyer experience and service quality. At that time, local preferred goods sellers and mall sellers will need to meet an FHR of ≥75%, while local preferred + sellers must achieve ≥85%. From November 18, the FHR standard will be raised to ≥90% for all local preferred goods, preferred goods +, and mall sellers. To support the new standards, Shopee introduces the 2-Day Delivery (2DD) plan, which speeds up parcel delivery, covers late delivery costs, increases seller listing exposure, and promotes sales growth. Pre-order items and orders not integrated into the delivery channel are excluded from FHR calculations. Sellers are advised to extend their business hours to 7 pm to accommodate extended shipping and pickup deadlines.

4. Ozon Introduces New Logistics Plan to Reduce Shipping Costs from China
Ozon, in collaboration with logistics partners, has launched a new logistics plan that groups goods by price and weight, significantly reducing shipping costs. The new freight standards are expected to lower logistics costs for Chinese sellers by an average of 20-30%, aiding in product diversification and sales performance. Ozon classifies all logistics methods into six groups and offers three delivery speeds. Additionally, to simplify the process for sellers to choose the best shipping method, Ozon has developed a scoring system that ranks logistics methods within each group based on criteria such as freight cost, delivery speed, the number of pick-up points, and availability of free pick-up services. Higher scores indicate superior performance in these factors compared to other options.
