Netflix’s animation K-Pop Demon Hunters gained over 236 million views thanks to its K-Pop style and visual flair.
The film The Bad Witch hit over $700 million global box-office, driving demand for green-pink gowns.
The hit series Wednesday revived the gothic look of The Addams Family.
Pixar’s reboot of Toy Story struck cross-generation resonance via Woody and friends.
Meanwhile, TikTok’s nostalgia trend brought back Malcolm in the Middle as a budget-friendly favourite.
Local media and apparel brand Depeli launched a 15% discount, helping families build look-alike costumes cost-effectively.


2. Eastern Metaphysical Jewelry Lights Up the West—Premium via Social Media

Rooted in Eastern metaphysical traditions, Buddha Stones surge in demand in Western markets as energy jewellery.
Their rise is driven by the global wellness wave—by 2025 the market is projected at $7 trillion.
Western customers engage in meditation and metaphysical practices, fuelling demand. At the same time, China’s Jiangsu Donghai crystal sector supplies over 70% of global volume, and Yiwu supply-chain costs remain low.
The brand offers over 3,700 SKUs of bracelets tuned to wellness-seeking consumers. They use Facebook and TikTok to “plant” interest and sell at premium prices.
In essence, the jewelry offers low-cost spiritual comfort in an age of anxiety. It confirms how traditional culture gains global value via modern expression.


3. EU-Ukraine Free Trade Upgrade Comes into Force

On October 29, the upgraded EU-Ukraine deep-and-comprehensive free trade agreement (DCFTA) entered into effect.
It further opens bilateral trade and introduces safeguard clauses for sensitive EU farm goods. The pact builds on the June 30 preliminary deal and the October 13 EU Council resolution.

On October 29, Hubei Port Group reported the first “9610” China–Europe freight train (Wuhan to Madrid) departed under the B2C “small parcel” model.
Previous models included “9710” and “9810”. This new route rounds out the logistics ecosystem.
Advantages: bonded zone inspection sites, dual-customs streamlined passage, and Han-Europe International’s full-chain solution. It crafts a reliable “small parcel export” channel tailored for SMEs.


5. Hyundai Motor Stock Jumps After US-Korea Deal to Lower Auto Tariffs

Following a US-Korea trade deal to reduce auto tariffs, Hyundai’s stock rose 11% to ₩287,500, and Kia’s jumped 8.4%.
The U.S. and Korea agreed key terms after months of negotiation tied to a $350 billion U.S. investment pledge from Seoul.
