3. Amazon Japan Adds 15 New Distribution Stations to Enhance Last-Mile Service Capability
Recently, Amazon Japan announced that it will open 15 new distribution stations across the country to further enhance its last-mile delivery capabilities. These distribution stations will serve as the starting point for the last mile, collecting customer-ordered goods to distribution centers (FCs) and distribution bases across the country, and quickly delivering them to consumers' homes in surrounding areas. This expansion of the distribution network is part of Amazon's additional investment in the Japanese market, which was announced at the 10th Annual Amazon Academy event held in August 2024. With the establishment of 15 new distribution stations, the total number of Amazon's distribution stations in Japan will exceed 65. It is expected to launch several new delivery projects, such as "Amazon Hub Distribution" and the "Delivery Service Partner Program," to help sellers carry out their own delivery businesses and provide more convenient services for customers.
4. Amazon Integrates Buy with Prime Upgrade into TikTok
